Mid-Level Architect

Position OverviewThe Mid-Level Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and coordinating with team members to deliver high-quality outputs for local and international AEC projects. With 3–5 years of experience, this role requires proficiency in design software, familiarity with international standards, and the ability to work independently while supporting senior team members in project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Development & Documentation

• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details based on project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, client specifications, and international standards.
• Assist in developing design concepts in collaboration with senior architects.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with other disciplines (structural, MEPFS) to ensure design integration.
• Coordinate with senior architects or coordinators for technical reviews and approvals.
• Communicate with clients or their representatives when required to clarify design issues.
  
  

Quality Control

• Review personal outputs for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Follow established QA/QC processes for drawing standards and documentation.
• Maintain consistency in drafting formats and templates.

Collaboration & Support

• Support senior architects in managing project deliverables and timelines.
• Provide guidance to junior draftsmen when necessary.
• Participate in internal reviews and contribute to design improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; Professional License preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design/drafting tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and international drafting standards.
• Experience working in an outsourcing or consultancy setup is an advantage.
